Refund & Returns Policy

1. Your Right to Return (Cooling-Off Period)

In terms of the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (Section 44), you have the right to return goods purchased online within 7 (seven) business days of receiving them, without giving any reason.

To qualify for a cooling-off return:

  • The goods must be unused, unopened, and in their original packaging.
  • You must contact us at info@dare2share.co.za within 7 business days of delivery to initiate the return.
  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

2. Defective or Damaged Goods

If you receive goods that are defective, damaged, or not as described, you are entitled to return them for a full refund or replacement at no additional cost to you. This right is protected under the Consumer Protection Act (Sections 55–56).

To report a defective or damaged item:

  • Contact us at info@dare2share.co.za within 6 months of receiving the goods.
  • Provide a description and photographs of the defect or damage.
  • We will arrange for the return and cover all return shipping costs.

3. How to Request a Return

  1. Email us at info@dare2share.co.za with your order number and reason for the return.
  2. We will confirm your return request and provide return instructions within 2 business days.
  3. Ship the goods back to us using the address we provide.
  4. Once we receive and inspect the returned goods, we will process your refund.

4. Refund Processing

  • Refunds will be processed within 15 business days of receiving the returned goods.
  • Refunds will be made to the original payment method used at checkout.
  • Shipping costs from the original order are non-refundable for cooling-off returns.
  • For defective goods, the full purchase price including original shipping costs will be refunded.

5. Non-Returnable Items

We are unable to accept returns on:

  • Goods that have been opened, used, or are no longer in their original condition.
  • Returns requested after the 7-business-day cooling-off period (unless the goods are defective).

6. Cancellation Before Delivery

If you wish to cancel your order before it has been shipped, please contact us as soon as possible at info@dare2share.co.za. If the order has not yet been dispatched, we will cancel it and issue a full refund within 15 business days.
